Edmond Williams BSc PhD LicAc DipCHM MBAcC MRCHM is a registered acupuncturist and Chinese medical herbalist, affiliated with the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM) and the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM). He has many years of experience as a practitioner of Chinese Medicine and complements his clinical work with teaching qigong. He also lectures at postgraduate level in one of the leading UK Chinese Medicine Colleges. Edmond has a valid and up to date training in first aid and holds full personal and public liability insurance.

Biography
Edmond started his career as a scientist, gaining a BSc in Natural Sciences at Durham and then a Doctorate in Laser Physics at St Andrews University. However, a flourishing career in research was abruptly ended by illness and the failure of Western medicine to offer effective treatment led him to explore other alternatives. The Chinese healing arts provided an integral route to recovery that inspired him to study this profound system of healthcare and share it with others. He has since undertaken over five years of training in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and Western medical sciences at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and Oriental Medicne (LCTA) and the College of Integrated Medicine (CICM) in Reading, gaining a Licentiate in Acupuncture and a Diploma in Chinese Herbal Medicine, respectively. Mastering Chinese Medicine is a never ending journey and Edmond continues to enrich his knowledge and practice of Chinese Medicine through attending numerous specialist courses. He is also committed to his own inner development through the internal arts of qigong, taijiquan and meditation. This practice continues to deepen his sensitivity, insight and compassion both as a practitioner and teacher.
